It is now October and we wanted to celebrate it in the most artistic way possible. I’m sure some of you here have heard of October Inktober; but just in case you haven’t, let me just fill you in.
Inktober is a drawing challenge that occurs every October for artists everywhere to practice their inking skills and improve their ink drawing habits. Created by Jake Parker in 2009, more and more artists take part in this challenge every year. This year, we thought we would lend you talented artists out there a hand by suggesting some of our favorite ink fonts to fuel your inspiration or even for your own creative use during this month of Inktober.
First, here are some rules for Inktober:
- Make a drawing in ink
- Post it online
- Hashtag #inktober and #inktober2016
- Repeat.
Note: You can do it daily, or go half-marathon route and post every other day, or just do the 5K and post once a week. What ever you decide, just be consistent with it. Inktober is all about growing and improving and forming positive habits, so the more consistent the better.
Now, here are the 10 ink fonts as promised!
