Important: Install Claw in a workspace you admin

Before you begin, install Designs Claw in a Slack workspace where you have admin (or app-install) rights. The bot will live in that workspace, and channel access depends on how you invite it.

You need admin or app-install rights in the target workspace, guest accounts cannot complete OAuth.
Pick the correct workspace during authorization. Switching later means reinstalling the app.
In public or private channels, Claw only replies when someone tags @designsclaw.

Connect to Slack

From Designs.ai, go to Connect → Slack and tap Add to Slack. You'll be redirected to Slack's OAuth screen — review the permissions, then authorize Designs Claw. After install, invite it to channels; it replies when someone tags @designsclaw.

Choose workspace & channels

Confirm the workspace where Claw should live, then pick the public or private channels it can join. You can always /invite @designsclaw into more channels later, it only replies when tagged @designsclaw.

Start a conversation with Claw

In a public or private channel you've invited Claw to, tag @designsclaw with your brief, Claw only replies when mentioned. It answers in-thread with drafts, variants, and next steps, right where your team already works.
